GET GARDENING!
We are really pleased to say the Community Centre Support Group (CCSG) have been successful in an application for a grant under the Medwrn Mon “Keeping Active Fund”.
The criteria was to instigate a community project which would involve all ages, bearing in mind the current restrictions of lockdown.
Barbara Jones came up with the brilliant idea of raising seedlings at home for future use in either a community garden, or in our own homes if we are still having to social distance ourselves by the Spring.
So, shortly we will be able to provide 100 families with a kit including everything needed to plant seeds and grow on – either veg or flowers.
Please let me know if you would like to receive a kit and we will arrange delivery. It’s good to see the snowdrops out and the daffs in bloom – seeing your own seedlings develop will be another way of bringing Spring and brighter days nearer!
