RATIONALISATION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION IN SOUTH WEST ANGLESEY -CONSULTATION: A meeting for the staff of Bodorgan School; a further meeting for the Governing Body of the School and another meeting for the Parents of the pupils have been arranged for Monday 17 November. Members of the community have not been invited to any of these meetings to voice their opinions, Dafydd has suggested that the community hijack the last meeting (with the Parents) to voice our own concerns.
FUTURE OF THE COMMUNITY CENTRE: Dafydd reported that the situation has not changed. Cllr A Griffith and Cllr P Rogers have been invited to attend a meeting with the local authority to discuss the Trust Deed. No invitation has been extended to Dafydd or Rhys Evans. Cllr P Rogers said that this is unfair as Dafydd is the person who knows everything about the Deed. Cllr P Rogers will reply to the local authority that they should invite Dafydd and Rhys to the meeting. The Charities Commission have replied to Dafydd's letter and they state that the local authority is not empowered to impose changes and they are responsible for all the utilities and maintenance of the School site.
